Throw Back Thursday.

Take a moment to think back on your life...

 

You know those days,

the ones that you feel so out of it,

and so does everyone else?
 

Its the weirdest thing.

its like the whole universe is on the same emotional track.

That was a common occurrence up at

our dearly beloved college

...
But this go around was by far the worst one yet
...
 

We boarded the bus
to go to class.

the bus was filled with silence.
 

Awkward silence.
& that is coming from the awkward masters,
the ones who thrive off these types of situations...

Now. 

the bus was pretty full.

everyone on their phones.

It was strange,

usually there is some sort of socialization.

there was not a single utterance from anyones mouth.

We were trying to figure out something that we could do to make the setting a little more
...lively.

coming up with nothing...

the song on the radio fades...

Along with our confidence in our abilities,
 

 the awkwardness,
on the other hand didn't fade in the slightest.
 

Then a familiar, very overplayed song came over the speakers.

"Call Me Maybe"
 

oh boy.
 

the ideas started to flow.
The song moved us into action!!
 

we whipped out air violins,

started to belt out the repetative lyrics.

& had our own jam session in the middle of the bus.

head banging,

dancing,

the whole sha-bang.

The mere passengers eyes widened.

& gave us judgemental looks as if we were animals in a zoo.
 

we embraced it.
 

Soon they started to join in.
one by one the whole bus began to come together.

there was laughter at the absurdness they started to participate in.
 

Total High School Musical Moment.
 

As we had reached our stop the song had hit the last note.
Perfectly timed as the bus doors flew open.
 

there were applause.

& many people thanked us for making their day.
